A video has surfaced capturing the moment when Ekiti chef Damilola Adeparusi opened an unexpected box during her cook-a-thon.
Inside the carton, there was a box of fish sent by an anonymous fan who wanted to show their love and support for the chef.
With a wide smile on her face, Damilola opened the box, revealing its contents to her followers and fans.
This incident occurred shortly after a Nigerian businessman offered a cash prize of N1 million to Chef Dammy if she decided to end her ongoing cookathon immediately.
The businessman made this promise in response to the heavy criticism Chef Dammy has faced since she began cooking in Oye, Ekiti state.
According to the businessman, he has no issue with Chef Dammy's decision to cook for 120 hours, but he believes it would have been better for her to wait until Hilda Baci had her record certified by the Guinness World Records before starting her own cookathon.
@ayotomiwa407 expressed their thoughts, saying, "If I go there, it's a husband I'm looking for. Since I missed the opportunity at Hilda's event, I must find a husband at Chef Dammy's event."
@alexchike173 added, "If Guinness doesn't want to give Hilda the award, she should do her own cookathon. You guys should stop the hate. She's also doing it for Nigeria, just like Hilda."
