The highly debated concert featuring the Grammy Award-winning Nigerian sensation, Burna Boy, has officially met its demise.
News of the concert being postponed to December 16th due to lackluster ticket sales had already stirred discussions on social media platforms, making Burna Boy's name a top trending topic.
However, the Burna Boy show has now been officially canceled, as announced by prominent entertainment blogger Phil Mphela in a tweet. The tweet revealed that TicketPro, the ticketing platform, had ceased all ticket sales for the concert.
The post stated: "Burna Boy concert now officially cancelled. Cited are 'inability for the promoters to fulfil their contractual, financial, production and technical obligations.' Production vendors had apparently not been paid on time. Management conceded that the agreed production standard needed for the venue size could not be achieved. TicketPro has seized all sales of tickets to the concert."
