Reports have emerged of a tragic incident where a Nigerian bride passed away just a few hours after her wedding ceremony in the capital city of Kogi state, Lokoja. The identity of the bride is currently unknown, but it has been reported that she started experiencing stomach pains during the wedding celebration on Saturday, April 29.
Although she was given Coke to drink when she complained of not having eaten all day, the pain continued to worsen even as she left the reception and received prayers and blessings from her parents before leaving for her husband's home, as is customary. Eventually, the bride was rushed to a private hospital where she was administered a diclofenac injection by the doctor on duty. Unfortunately, her condition did not improve, and she was referred to the Federal Medical Center where it was discovered that she was suffering from internal bleeding and required immediate surgery.
Despite undergoing the operation, the bride did not survive, leaving behind her devastated family and husband. The heartbreaking story was shared on Twitter by a user known as Aremex, who expressed his condolences and called on God to help those affected by the tragedy.
