A young man, identified on Twitter as Groovy, has taken to social media to accuse Polaris Bank of attempting to steal his money. He claims that the bank informed him they had obtained a court order from Abuja Court declaring him deceased and subsequently froze his account.
According to Groovy, his account was deactivated by the bank in February, and despite submitting all the necessary forms, he has been unable to access his funds. He has called for investigative journalists to look into the matter, suggesting that this could be an inside job by employees of Polaris Bank. Groovy has requested that Polaris Bank provide him with a copy of the court order from Abuja and remove the inactive status on his account so that he can prove his existence.

Every decent investigative journalist in Nigeria should be getting across for the scoop on this case. The more I look the more I am pissed and 100% convinced this was an inside job by employees of @PolarisBankLtd
They messed with the wrong one this time and the world will know.

My requests here are simple @PolarisBankLtd send me a copy of the court order from Abuja saying I am dead and a hold (PND) should be placed on my account so I can go to the same court and show proof of life or lift the inactive status on my account.
