Asake, a prominent Afrobeats singer, is facing backlash from Nigerians after donating only N5M to the ailing policewoman featured in the viral 'Help me Help me' video, which he incorporated into his song.

Upon learning of the incident, Asake reportedly sent her 5 million naira. However, a Nigerian, Dr. Penking, criticized the amount, arguing that Asake had earned substantial revenue from the song. Dr. Penking pointed out that the track generated over 500 million in streams and highlighted Asake's recent 136 million naira house purchase, stating that the singer's donation was insufficient after intense public scrutiny.
