The panel established by the Anambra State Government to investigate the controversial result presented by Mmesoma Ejikeme has disclosed the details of her confession. The panel is urging Mmesoma to issue a written apology to the Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) and undergo psychological counseling. The committee's three-point recommendations conclude that Mmesoma manipulated her original result.

During the investigation, the committee interacted with Mmesoma Ejikeme, her school authorities, and JAMB. Their findings confirmed that the result she showcased, with an aggregate score of 362, was fraudulent. Mmesoma confessed to manipulating the results herself using her mobile phone. She admitted to altering the results independently and printing them at a cybercafe called Prisca Global Computers in Uruagu, Nnewi.

Although the committee attempted to ascertain her motives, Mmesoma Ejikeme remained silent on the matter. Her actions had cast doubts on the integrity of JAMB when she claimed to have achieved the highest score of 362 in the 2023 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME).

In response to the controversy, the Anambra State Government formed a committee chaired by Prof. Nkemdili Nnonyelu. Other committee members include Prof. Mercy Okonkwo, Prof. Ngozi Chuma-Udeh, Prof. Maduabuchi Dukor, Prof. Jaja Nwanegbo, Rev. Sr. Prof. Mary-Felicia Opara, Rev. Cannon Dr. Uchenna Umeifekwem, and Mr. Chukwuemeka Fred Agbata, the Managing Director of the Anambra Information Communication Technology Agency.

However, the Anambra State Government has not yet released a white paper addressing this issue. As a result of JAMB's three-year ban on her participation in the UTME, Ejikeme Mmesoma's future remains uncertain.
