A frustrated resident of Aba takes her grievances to TikTok, addressing the state government for the persistent lack of electricity in her area, contrary to what is portrayed in numerous online testimonies.
The visibly distressed young lady, featured on TikTok as @pamara_g, shared her ordeal, expressing discontent with the power situation. She claimed that despite the abundance of videos online showcasing consistent electricity, she only receives one hour of power daily.
According to her, she resides in Azikwe, a residential area with numerous businesses, and highlighted the higher cost of their electricity bill compared to other regions. She urged fellow state residents to stop spreading misinformation about the actual state of the power supply and instead hold the government accountable for the inadequate service.
Notably, the Alex Otti-led government in Abuja State recently inaugurated a Geometric power plant, promising residents 24 hours of uninterrupted electricity.
