In Germany, a 66-year-old man reportedly suffered the loss of his manhood following a disturbing incident involving his own pet dog.
Neighbors raised the alarm about the dog's incessant barking around 2 a.m. on Tuesday, prompting first responders to check the scene in Herne, northwestern Germany. Upon entering the residence after breaking down the door, they discovered the man, aged 66, in a precarious state with his dog. Recognizing the severity of the situation, the authorities swiftly transported the injured man to the hospital.
As reported by the German tabloid Bild, neither the severed organ nor any 'instrument of the crime' has been recovered from the scene thus far. Due to health concerns, the victim has been unable to provide details about the incident. Authorities are considering the possibility that the injuries were caused by the dog, a Jack Russell terrier-sized canine.
First Police Chief Inspector Frank Lemanis informed the media that the man was placed in an artificial coma upon arrival at the hospital. He noted, 'One possibility, of course, is that the dog, which is around the size of a Jack Russell terrier, bit off and ate the penis. The wound could potentially have been caused by a bite.
