A man shares a shocking story of how a suitor in Abuja drove off with his friend’s phone while attempting to woo her.
The friend recounted the unfortunate incident on his Twitter account, @nunchucks0000.
According to him, his friend was approached by a well-dressed man in a nice car who expressed his desire to start a relationship with her.
After engaging in conversation for a while, the man requested her phone number. She obliged and handed him her phone so he could input his number.
Assuming the man was trustworthy, she gave him her phone without hesitation. However, to her dismay, the man sped off with her phone, seemingly executing his plan all along.
In his tweet, he wrote:
“So this babe was on the road with her phone and her pods plugged in. A nice car with a well-dressed man stopped by and horned. She removed her pods and they started talking. He was trying to woo her.
After a while, he asked for her phone number and she gave him. He then further asked her to give him her phone so he can put in his phone number, coz he seemed chilled and all, she gave him the phone. That’s how this man drove off with speed with her iPhone 13 or so.
The babe was shocked and thought it was a prank or something that he will drive back but that’s how the man went away, she did not know what to do and eventually stood there shocked and started crying. Omo I first laughed before I started feeling bad for her. Omo fear Abuja men.”
