A harrowing incident unfolded as a man managed to secure his freedom after a traumatic experience in which he was kidnapped by an individual he had befriended on social media, lured by the promise of a job opportunity.
The junior brother of the victim, known as Mezublazz on social media, shared a disturbing account of the incident. He revealed that his mother received a chilling call from the kidnappers, who initially demanded a staggering sum of 1 million naira for his brother Gozie's release.
After frantic negotiations and heartfelt pleas, the ransom was ultimately reduced to 60,000 naira. Shockingly, Gozie was subjected to physical assault and coerced into making false statements about his sexuality before the abductors finally released him.
Upon regaining his freedom, Gozie, still in shock from the ordeal, disclosed the disturbing truth that it was a supposed social media friend who had orchestrated the kidnapping. This "friend" had enticed Gozie with a job offer, purportedly as a chef at his establishment.
However, the situation took a horrific turn, leading to Gozie's abduction and mistreatment.
