The incident unfolded when Chudy, the corps member in question, instructed a male student to stand up during class. However, the student's response was far from what Chudy expected. The student retorted disrespectfully with the words, "Corper you dey whine me?" This shocking response left Chudy momentarily stunned.
Turning to Twitter to share his distressing encounter, Chudy expressed his feelings of being set up by the NYSC [/b]for being assigned to the school. He also voiced concerns for his safety, especially in light of the increasing reports of secondary school students engaging in various illicit activities, including cultism.
In Chudy's own words: "I asked a student in my class to stand up during class and he replied me 'Corper you dey whine me???’ NYSC don set me up oh walahi…😤😤😤."
This incident serves as a reminder of the challenges that NYSC members may encounter during their service year, including unexpected and unruly behavior from students they are tasked with educating and guiding.
