A businesswoman recently expressed her gratitude and restored faith in humanity as a man repaid her for a transaction made in 2021, which had been mistakenly reverted to his account.
Taking to her Twitter account, @miss_she_du, the young lady shared the heartwarming story, confirming that good people still exist in Nigeria.
According to the shared chat screenshots, the Muslim man had been conducting an audit of his bank account over the years and noticed a discrepancy related to a past transaction with the businesswoman.
It turned out that he had purchased something from her, paid for it, but the money got reversed without either of them realizing at the time. Once he discovered the error, he promptly requested her account number to rectify the mistake, emphasizing that his religion forbids cheating others.
The businesswoman expressed deep appreciation for this unexpected act of honesty, stating that it has renewed her faith in humanity.
