His triumph came in the highly prestigious 2022–2023 Toyota Dream Vehicle Art Contest, where he emerged as the top contender.

Oluwademilade, a 10-year-old student at Corona School in Gbagada, Lagos, Nigeria, faced stiff competition from 782,852 participants representing 90 countries worldwide. His innovative waste converter solution captured the attention of judges, who deemed it the best entry for its potential to benefit nations, particularly in Africa, by addressing food production and environmental preservation challenges.

The young champion was rewarded handsomely for his outstanding achievement. He received a cash prize of $5,000, along with a plaque and a certificate, during a special ceremony organized by Toyota Nigeria Limited. Additionally, his school was granted $10,000 in recognition of his exceptional performance.

Furthermore, Oluwademilade Odumuboni, along with nine other national winners, earned the opportunity to showcase their winning artworks in Japan. These young talents' drawings will be pitted against other winning entries from across the globe as part of the international competition.

The Toyota Dream Vehicle Art Contest is an annual event hosted by Toyota Motor Corporation (TMC) in Japan, inviting students from around the world to use their creativity to envision their dream cars, regardless of how unconventional or imaginative their ideas may be.
