Chelsea surged to the top of the Conference League table after a remarkable display, defeating Armenian side Noah with an 8-0 scoreline. The dominant performance saw the Blues take control early, marking one of their most commanding wins of the season.
The Blues established their authority by scoring six of their goals in a powerful first half, where they created numerous chances and showed a relentless attacking style. Noah managed to hold out for only the first 11 minutes before the floodgates opened, and Chelsea took full advantage.
The breakthrough came with a well-placed header from Tosin Adarabiyo, who connected perfectly with a corner delivered by Enzo Fernandez. Just moments later, teenage striker Marc Guiu scored his first goal for Chelsea, cementing his name on the scoresheet with a confident finish.
Defender Axel Disasi contributed to Chelsea's dominance by scoring a third goal with another powerful header, also assisted by Fernandez. Joao Felix then netted twice in rapid succession, with one goal coming from a deflected shot, extending the lead to a commanding 5-0.
Mykhailo Mudryk wrapped up the first half with a stunning curling shot, providing a much-needed confidence boost for the winger under the guidance of coach Enzo Maresca.
With a comfortable lead in hand, Maresca decided to make changes at halftime, giving his captain, Enzo Fernandez, some rest by bringing on Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall. Chelsea’s control continued throughout the second half, as Christopher Nkunku added two more goals to the tally, including a well-taken penalty, sealing Chelsea’s emphatic 8-0 victory.
