The decision, announced on Friday, rejected the appeals lodged by World Athletics and the World Anti-Doping Agency (WADA).

Amusan, the world record holder in the 100 meters hurdles was initially charged with a violation due to “whereabouts failures,” having missed three drug tests within a 12-month period.

Consequently, the Athletics Integrity Unit (AIU) provisionally suspended her in July 2023.

However, the AIU’s disciplinary tribunal panel overturned this suspension just before the World Championships in Budapest last year.

Amusan, 2022 world champion, has consistently denied using performance-enhancing substances.

According to Reuters, CAS stated that its panel unanimously determined Amusan had committed two filing failures but did not confirm a third missed test, which would have constituted a “whereabouts failure.”

Sharing her relief on Instagram, Amusan posted “It’s ALL GOD” alongside the court’s announcement.

Amusan is considered a top contender for the upcoming Paris Olympics, beginning on July 26.
