Manchester City secured a 6-1 victory over Bournemouth at The Etihad stadium, temporarily reclaiming the top spot in the league from Tottenham.
While the match showed City’s dominance, it also brought an injury scare for Erling Haaland.
Jeremy Doku was outstanding in the match, opening the scoring and providing three assists.
City raced to a 3-0 lead by halftime, and their continuous attack in the second half, saw Phil Foden finding the back of the net.
Bernardo Silva added to the goal tally with a chip over the goalkeeper, to mark his second of the day and City’s fifth.
Manuel Akanji and Nathan Ake, both defenders, also joined the scoring spree.
Bournemouth managed to pull one back with Luis Sinisterra’s 74th-minute strike, but it was nothing more than a consolation goal.
