Israel Adesanya, the Nigerian mixed martial artist, was seen in a viral video celebrating his recent victory with Usman Kamaru, another Nigerian MMA fighter, and Adekunle Gold, a popular Nigerian musician.
Adesanya won the UFC middleweight championship title by defeating Alex Pereira in the main event of UFC 287. This was his second attempt at reclaiming the title he lost to Pereira earlier. The video shows Adesanya and his colleagues dancing in a club, and his victory has garnered congratulations from notable people in Nigeria, including President-elect Bola Tinubu and Peter Obi of the Labour Party.
His win has trailed congratulations across the country including from the president-elect, Bola Tinubu and from Labour Party’s Peter Obi.
