Contrary to recent reports, Kevin De Bruyne has not reached personal terms to join Saudi Pro League side Al Ittihad.
The 33-year-old midfielder, who is in the final year of his contract with Manchester City, has been frequently linked with a lucrative move to Saudi Arabia.
However, the stories suggesting he has agreed to depart the Etihad Stadium are premature, according to transfer expert Fabrizio Romano.
Sky Sports recall De Bruyne, earlier this year, acknowledged the potential appeal of a high-paying move abroad.

“My eldest is now eight years old and knows nothing but England. He also asks how long I will play for Man City. Once the moment comes, we will have to deal with it in a certain way.
“At my age, you have to be open to everything. You’re talking about incredible amounts of money in what may be the end of my career. Sometimes you have to think about that.”
Despite the speculation, De Bruyne remains a Manchester City player for now, with no concrete agreement in place for a move to Al Ittihad.
