Currently a member of Santos in Brazil, Washington's potential move to Chelsea follows their recent acquisition of winger Angelo Gabriel from the same club earlier this summer. Gabriel has already showcased his skills in pre-season matches for the English club.

This January, Chelsea completed the signing of midfielder Andrey Santos from Vasco da Gama, who has also impressed under Mauricio Pochettino recently after obtaining a work permit.

Renowned transfer expert Fabrizio Romano revealed that Chelsea has tabled an offer of €15 million, along with an additional €5 million in potential add-ons for the 18-year-old sensation. It's further reported that Deivid Washington has already come to terms on personal arrangements. His impending transfer to Europe is expected to include a loan stint at French side RC Strasbourg, a team recently acquired by Todd Boehly.

Deivid Washington's move to Chelsea during this transfer window from Santos is highly anticipated. His contributions this season for the Brazilian team have yielded six goals in 22 appearances.

Initially holding out for a potential £26 million, Santos appears inclined to accept Chelsea's proposition. The deal is expected to involve an initial payment of £13 million, with an additional £4 million contingent on performance.

However, Chelsea is not the sole club to express interest in Deivid Washington. The likes of Atletico Madrid, Real Madrid, Borussia Dortmund, and Monaco have also been drawn to his talents.

This transfer window has seen Chelsea engage in significant activity. The club has seen the departure of nearly 15 players, including notable names like Kai Havertz to Arsenal, Mason Mount to Manchester United, and Mateo Kovacic to Manchester City.

Conversely, Chelsea's roster has welcomed several new additions. French players Axel Disasi and Lesley Ugochukwu have sealed deals, along with Christopher Nkunku from RB Leipzig and Nicolas Jackson from Villarreal.
