Chelsea co-owner, Todd Boehly reportedly sacked Thomas Tuchel just days after he was denied the opportunity to take a group of guests into the dressing room during Chelsea's 2-1 win against West Ham at Stamford Bridge in September. According to TalkSPORT, Boehly wanted to give a personal tour to a group of guests including children at half-time, but Tuchel denied him entry to the dressing room as he was angry with his players at that moment.

Boehly, who was left disappointed, returned to his seat up in the directors’ box while Tuchel was relieved of his duties just days later after a defeat to Dinamo Zagreb. The German manager has since returned to the Bundesliga to manage Bayern Munich. Chelsea, who have had a disappointing season, replaced Tuchel with former Brighton coach, Graham Potter, but he was sacked too due to his inability to get a tune out of the team despite having a huge squad.

Frank Lampard was appointed as interim manager but has gone winless in his first 4 games in charge. Meanwhile, Boehly has now made going to the dressing room a regular occurrence in search of an upturn in form from somewhere. Chelsea are out of the Champions League and have shifted their focus to getting more points in the Premier League while searching for a new permanent manager.
