The Gunners seized control early in the game, with Gabriel Magalhães heading in a powerful goal from a corner just eleven minutes in.
Magalhães continued to make an impact from set-pieces, securing his second goal from another corner assisted by Bukayo Saka, leaving Palace goalkeeper Dean Henderson helpless.
