Diallo's first goal came shortly after the second half began, in the 50th minute. Bruno Fernandes played a precise ball deep into the box, reaching Diallo at the far post. Diallo showed impressive skill and composure as he directed a looping header over PAOK’s goalkeeper, Dominik Kotarski, putting United ahead. The goal was momentarily checked by VAR, but it was soon confirmed, bringing a wave of relief and excitement to United fans.

Despite PAOK's efforts to respond, including a clear chance in the 64th minute when Tarik Tissoudali found himself with a direct shot at goal, the visitors couldn't find a way past United’s goalkeeper, Andre Onana, who denied Tissoudali from close range.

Diallo struck again in the 77th minute to secure the win. A well-placed long pass from Christian Eriksen forced PAOK defender Abdul Baba into a pressured situation. Diallo took advantage, seizing control and curling a beautifully struck shot from the edge of the box, sealing the match for United with a stunning finish.

This much-needed European victory gave Manchester United fans a renewed sense of optimism, as Diallo’s double showcased his potential and United’s resilience. The win not only broke their lengthy winless spell in European competitions but also brought momentum for the Red Devils in their ongoing Europa League journey.
