West Ham's talented player, Said Benrahma, experienced a surprising turn of events during his international duty with Algeria. In a friendly match against Egypt in the UAE, Benrahma was substituted in the 63rd minute, just after Algeria fell behind 1-0.
Algeria's performance in the game was far from satisfactory, particularly as they prepared for the upcoming World Cup qualifying campaign, scheduled to commence in November.
However, what truly caught attention was the incident on the touchline. As Benrahma left the pitch, it appeared that he snubbed his coach, Djamel Belmadi, who had extended his hand for a pat on the back.
When Benrahma disregarded his coach's gesture, Belmadi took matters into his own hands—literally—by grabbing the player's shirt. This unexpected confrontation unfolded as Benrahma was exiting the field.
Benrahma's reaction was one of stunned surprise, as he raised both hands in disbelief, seemingly questioning why his coach had chosen to grab him in this manner.
