Nigerian politician, Honourable Alex Ikwechegh, recently shared his thoughts on respect following public backlash over an incident involving the alleged assault of a cab driver.
It should be recalled that Honourable Ikwechegh, a member of the House of Representatives, faced criticism on social media after a video surfaced showing him allegedly assaulting a cab driver who had delivered a package to him.
A petition had been made against him after the activist, Verydarkman involved himself in the matter.
Although, the politician has apologised from his conduct, a recent post on his Instagram page shows him writing about respect.
According to him, if one wants respect, they must also show it.
The caption was attached to a video of a little boy saluting different uniformed men and receiving salutes in return.
