According to a close friend of the deceased who spoke anonymously to Vanguard, the maid (name withheld) revealed that Nick Imudia contacted her the day before his death and gave her a piece of paper with five phone numbers, including his brother’s in the United States of America.

“She said Nick told her to keep the numbers, as she would need them at the appropriate time. Later, she mentioned that he went into the bathroom, and she heard the shower running, indicating he was bathing,” the friend recounted.

“After some time, she noticed the shower was still running and grew concerned about what he could be doing for so long. She knocked on the door but received no response, so she left,” the friend continued.

“Shortly afterward, the private guard knocked on the door and summoned her downstairs to witness what had happened to Nick. She hurried downstairs and found him in a distressing condition. Upon returning upstairs, she noticed the shower was still running. Upon opening the door, she found the bathroom empty,” the friend explained.

Meanwhile, the deceased’s friend mentioned that the family had requested Imudia’s remains for burial.

Over the weekend, the family issued a statement ruling out suicide as the cause of death, emphasizing that Nick Imudia displayed no signs of stress and was never diagnosed with depression at any point.
