According to Galadima, many of these appointees seem solely invested in enriching themselves rather than contributing to the development of Nigeria.

He made these remarks during an interview on Channels Television, where he voiced his concerns regarding the behavior and priorities of these appointees.

“Some of his appointees seem to be more preoccupied with filling their pockets than with the task of service delivery,” Galadima said.

He emphasized that a true leader should lead by example, highlighting how the focus should be on developing the nation rather than personal gain.

Galadima referenced India as an example of a nation that has strategically invested in sectors like medicine and information technology, which were boosted by remittances from Indians living abroad.

“India carefully managed these remittances to enhance IT and medical sciences, leading to a scenario where today, 75 per cent of conglomerate heads globally are Indians,” he explained.

He further reiterated, “It’s crucial to inform him that many of his appointees are more focused on their personal finances rather than contributing to meaningful service delivery.”

During his appearance on the show, Galadima also expressed disappointment with the overall performance of Tinubu’s administration, particularly in its first year.

He noted that although he had higher expectations when Tinubu took office, the president's administration has yet to deliver better results for the country.
