From Maiduguri to Lagos, and then Niger State… Unfortunately, I heard the sad story of your departure from this realm of life. You lost your younger sister, elder brother, and now you are gone. May the LORD comfort us all… We’ll miss you dearly, beloved Captain Ibrahim Yohana (Presido Commando). Sai mu zo.” His tribute highlights the personal loss and the memories shared with the late captain.
Eric Katanga, another mourner, expressed his disbelief and sorrow, writing: “Since yesterday, I was hoping to get another call to hear that it was a mistake of identity, but then we are left with no choice than to accept reality. Rest on brother. Rest on Captain Ibrahim Yohana.” His message reflects the shock and denial often felt in the wake of such tragic news.
