The national chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Abdullahi Umar Ganduje, has reiterated his strong dedication to ensuring that the party secures a decisive victory in the upcoming governorship elections across Ondo, Oyo, and Osun states. Ganduje highlighted the strategic importance of these states in the party’s broader political landscape and stressed the need for a well-coordinated approach to ensure overwhelming support for the APC in these regions.
During his address, Ganduje underscored his commitment to mobilizing all necessary resources and backing to achieve this goal, stating that the APC would not only be victorious but would also achieve a significant majority of votes. His confidence in the party's success was clear as he outlined plans to engage with grassroots supporters and stakeholders to bolster the party’s presence in Ondo, Oyo, and Osun states.

He spoke with assurance about the party's dominance in the Southwest, stating that the APC would ultimately triumph in the entire region, beginning with Ondo.
Ganduje made these remarks while leading the APC National Working Committee during a crucial stakeholders' meeting held in Akure, the capital of Ondo State. He emphasized the need for unity and dedication within the party, urging all members to contribute to the overall success of the elections in the region.
He further stated: “In this geopolitical zone, we must deliver 100 per cent in favour of the APC. Therefore, Ondo State, you must be the forefront, the two other states – Oyo and Osun – we will capture them, but I will not reveal our secret. We are strategising. Everything must be 100 per cent behind President Bola Tinubu."
Ganduje also reiterated the party’s full support for Governor Aiyedatiwa, announcing that Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu of Lagos State would serve as the Chairman of the National Campaign Council for the Ondo election. This move, he explained, would ensure a well-coordinated and successful campaign.
He concluded his remarks by emphasizing that the election in Ondo State was a crucial task that must be accomplished. Ganduje was particularly encouraged by the large turnout at the stakeholders’ meeting, which he said demonstrated unity, solidarity, and determination within the party ranks.
“We are expecting 90 per cent votes in the forthcoming governorship election. You have to visit house to house, neighbour to neighbour, and ensure that people come out to vote,” he added, stressing the importance of grassroots mobilization in securing victory for the APC.
