Ibrahim Abdulkarim, a trusted aide of Peter Obi, recently shed light on Obi's response to criticisms regarding the quality of borehole projects he is overseeing in the northern region. Despite facing backlash, Obi remains steadfast in his commitment to ensuring that these boreholes meet the highest standards of quality. Abdulkarim emphasized that Obi's primary objective is to provide clean and accessible water to communities in need, regardless of their geographical location.
Abdulkarim further elaborated that Obi recognizes the crucial role of reliable water sources in the well-being and development of communities. By investing in these borehole projects, Obi aims to significantly enhance the lives of people in the northern region.
Addressing critics, Abdulkarim stated on his social media platform, "If the boreholes Peter Obi is constructing are deemed substandard and of inferior quality, we challenge you and your supporters to undertake projects of superior quality."
He continued, "PO at the Palace expressed his desire for detractors to be motivated to surpass his efforts by initiating larger borehole projects that would overshadow his own."
"He proposed that with over 10,000 affluent individuals, if each were to fund the construction of 10 boreholes, it would amount to 100,000 boreholes during Ramadan alone," Abdulkarim added.
