A Twitter user has given his own insight into why Wizkid songs are always more recognized and more meaningful around the world than his counterpart, Davido.
For years, the Nigerian music industry has been lifted to greater heights by numerous artists and two of these artists are definitely Wizkid and Davido.
Over the last ten years, two of them have constantly dished out great musics to the ears of music lovers across the country and Africa as a whole.
Well, in recent years, Wizkid and Davido have now started and slowing penetrating into the world music market and they’ve both bagged collaborations to top foreign artists.
Well, in some cases two of them are now classified as global superstars.
This has brought fans back to making comparison of who is getting more airplays by the foreigners.
A music lover on Twitter with the ID, @TheFrogKiller has given his own insights into why Wizkid songs are more recognized and more meaningful in regards to Davido’s song.
He brought in the statistics from Spotify, a digital music service that gives you access to millions of songs but available in limited countries excluding Nigeria.
The Twitter user tweeted this:
“Davido's So crazy garnered 67k streams in 2 days via Spotify while Wizkid's No Stress garnered 276k in a day, a platform that is not available in Nigeria,
Isn’t it glaring that Wizkid's songs are more recognised and more meaningful around the world than Davido songs.”
