Actor and movie producer, Kunle Afolayan is the happiest dad at the moment following a letter he received from his son, Diekola who turns 15 today in absence of his estranged wife, Tolu Afolayan.
Showing off the appreciation note from the boy which was sent to him via a DM on WhatsApp, 46-year-old Kunle Afolayan wrote” It’s double joy and celebration for me today as my son DIEKOLOREOLUWA turned 15 and CITATION launched on Netflix today. E bami yo”
Kemi Filani News reports that in the note, the celebrant Diekola appreciates his dad for being awesome and always being there.
“….Thank you so much for everything sir, for being someone I could always talk to if anything is bothering me. Thank you for always making me laugh and thank you for all the advice you have given me, you are the best! Thank you so much for being a great, in fact, wonderful father to me, God will continue to bless you and keep you for all that love you, I love so much baba mi…” Diekola Afolayan writes in part.
Praying for his dad in Yoruba, he writes “Baba mi, all that you do and lay your hands upon will always turn out great. You will live long in sound mind and health to see your children’s ”
Last year, News broke that Kunle Afolayan’s wife, Tolu had quit the marriage over some messy issues.
According to a source privy to the unfortunate collapse, Kunle and Tolu parted ways after the two became hostile companions living under a roof with suspicion and distrust.
Tolu eventually packed her baggage and left their matrimonial home for good with an intent to never to step a foot into Kunle’s house again, leaving Kunle and his mother to take care of their four kids.
