Well, hours after the nominee list was released, DITTO Music co-founder, Lee Parsons came out to say he cannot understand why Sarkodie who’s the biggest African artist was left out of the ‘Best African Act’ category.
“I am not understanding why @AfroZons has missed the biggest African artist @sarkodie out of the @MOBOAwards best African artist category. If this is on ditto please let me know how we can help change this.”, he tweeted.
After his comment, some Twitter users disagreed with him, so he came out to clarify saying:
“To be clear this is nothing to do with ditto. Other ditto artists are on this list. I want to know AS ditto why one of my artists is not being represented properly. That is all”
Lee Parsons further said that even though Sarkodie was not considered by MOBO, they (DITTO) will bring him over for BRITs Awards.
Well, if you’re wondering why Lee is fighting on behalf of Sarkodie, it is because the rapper uses their services to distribute his music.
