Wizkid, a Nigerian singer, has finally answered to Seun Kuti, the son of Nigerian afrobeat superstar Femi Kuti, who has continuously mocked his Grammy nomination.
Despite collecting his Grammy plaque on Wednesday, Wizkid's manager, Seun Kuti, claims that there are only four musicians in Nigeria whose music has been nominated for Grammys, and Wizkid is one of them.
Seun Kuti, addressing Wizkid's followers and urging them to halt the euphoria, stated that an album is not the same as music, but that Wizkid will release a Grammy-winning piece of music eventually.
Wizkid, in a message uploaded on the microblogging platform Twitter, appeared caustic in his answer, urging Seun Kuti to focus on his sax and make good music instead of worrying about the opinions of his fans.
According to Wizkid, the public enjoyed his last album, and they are still dancing to it.
He wrote: No mind them jare. Get the sax and make some music, brother… We all enjoyed your last album we still dey dance like this.
