Controversial Nollywood actor, Yul Edochie, has provided insight into the importance of blocking on social media, sharing his perspective with fans and followers.
Addressing the topic on his Instagram page, the actor, known for being entangled in a marriage scandal for over two years, openly admitted his inclination towards blocking individuals, deeming it a cute practice.
According to Yul Edochie, being friends in real life doesn't necessitate a social media connection with individuals he has blocked. He emphasizes that he can maintain friendships in person, even if blocked online.
He goes on to explain that if someone's posts don't align with his spirit, he promptly blocks them, without concern if they reciprocate the action by blocking him in return.
The 42-year-old filmmaker adds that forgetting someone exists is one of the positive aspects of blocking them.
In his words: “Blocking dey sweet oo. We can be friends in real life, doesn’t mean we must be friends on social media. Once your posts no dey align with my spirit, I block you immediately. Block me too, don’t waste time. And the sweet thing about blocking, once you block someone you won’t remember that person exists anymore. I love it. Block someone today. Thank me later.”
