In his recent post, the actor-turned-pastor strongly encourages women to take matters into their own hands by proposing to their partners if they feel that their man is delaying the engagement. Yul Edochie believes that waiting endlessly for a proposal can be frustrating, and women should not be afraid to take the initiative.

Addressing his followers, Yul Edochie advised ladies to go ahead and buy a ring if necessary, and propose to their partners themselves if they are hesitant. He emphasizes that proposing should not be restricted by traditional gender roles, and that it doesn’t matter who makes the proposal as long as the relationship moves forward.

According to him, the important thing is for women to know where they stand in the relationship and to take action if necessary. He suggests that there’s no time to waste, and taking this step could provide clarity about the future of the relationship.

In his words:

“Ladies, if you’re waiting for your man to propose marriage to you and he’s wasting time, buy a ring and propose to him. There’s nothing wrong with it. It doesn’t matter who says the words. Propose. Know your stand with him. No time.”
