Israel DMW, a trusted aide of the popular singer Davido, has entered a public dispute with former NFF president Amaju Pinnick following Pinnick's accusations against his boss for a no-show at a paid event in Warri.
Previously, Amaju Pinnick had publicly criticized Davido for failing to fulfill his performance commitment at the Warri show despite receiving full payment.
In response to this controversy, Israel DMW joined the fray, defending Davido's integrity and insisting that his boss always honors agreements. Israel accused Amaju Pinnick of not presenting the complete truth about the situation. He also pointed out that Amaju had hyped Burna Boy over Davido, suggesting that if Pinnick had a preference for the 'Odogwu' singer, he should have reached out to him instead of wasting Davido's time. Israel further questioned Pinnick's commitment to the people of Warri, mentioning unfulfilled promises related to FIFA funds meant for stadium construction.
In his statement, Israel DMW wrote, "Amaju. Kindly tell the whole world the real truth of what happened. Agreement is fully Agreement, and oga would never joke with that. You coming on stage to hype bourna over oga, wasn’t good at all. The same bourna was sti alive. You should have just contacted him than wasting oga time. You claime to love ur Warri people that much? Where’s the money collected by you from FIFA, to build a befitting stadium for the same warri people till today?"
