The controversial activist, VeryDarkMan, has stirred up a significant online buzz with his explanation regarding the role of Yahoo Boys in Nigeria's economy.
During a recent visit to Jos, the activist participated in a comedy event and was subsequently invited to a radio show on JayFm 101.9, where he shared his insights.
According to VeryDarkMan, despite the unethical nature of their activities, Yahoo Boys have, in his opinion, contributed to keeping Nigeria's economy afloat. He pointed out that some of them reinvest the proceeds from their fraudulent activities in the real estate sector, acquiring houses and plazas in areas like Lekki, which, in turn, support various businesses.

He admits that even though politicians have also stolen a lot, they spend their money outside of Nigeria, but Yahoo Boys give back to the economy making them better in a way.
VeryDarkMan also insists they’re foolish as well because they are the reason everything is more costly in Nigeria but there is still a little advantage to it.
According to him, it is because of them there is the introduction of online businesses, Cryptocurrency trading amongst other ways of making money on the internet now.
