Renowned Nigerian singer and songwriter Ayodeji Ibrahim Balogun, widely known as Wizkid, has garnered praise for fulfilling his pledge of distributing 100 million naira to children for Christmas. The Afrobeat star was spotted in the Surulere and Makoko areas of Lagos, personally engaging in an outreach to kids in the neighborhood as part of his generous initiative.
Earlier on December 11, Wizkid had announced his plan to donate 100 million naira to kids across different parts of the country for Christmas. While specific details of the distribution were not disclosed, videos circulating on social media captured the singer with his bodyguards at various locations in Surulere and the Makoko area of Lagos State.
The singer had previously indicated that the cash distribution would commence in Surulere, and he followed through on that promise. However, the outreach expanded to include the Makoko community, showcasing Wizkid's commitment to spreading joy during the festive season.
