Wunmi initially explained that Mohbad had sustained an injury during a fight with his friend, Primeboy. Upon their return home, they had to wait for 48 hours before a nurse arrived to treat his injuries.

She recounted, "He (Mohbad) didn't go to the hospital due to reasons that I will later discuss. On that Monday (September 11), he noticed that I wasn't engaging with him much because of his behavior on the previous Sunday when the fight occurred. He asked me not to be angry before showing me the hand that was injured."

Wunmi continued, "I suggested we go to the hospital, but he refused. I applied ointment to the wound, which wasn't very deep. He then mentioned that a nurse would come. When the nurse arrived, she examined his hand before administering a tetanus injection."

She further clarified that their neighbor, known as "Spending," had called the nurse because Mohbad's regular nurse was unavailable at the time.

As the narrative unfolded, Wunmi described the moment when she left Mohbad and the nurse together in the room to attend to something in the kitchen. Upon her return, she heard Mohbad requesting the nurse to remove the injection due to the discomfort it was causing him.

In addition, she explained that she and Ajisegiri Sultan Ayobami, also known as 'DJ Bami,' had informed the nurse about Mohbad's ulcer condition, emphasizing the importance of administering appropriate injections. However, things took a concerning turn when Mohbad began feeling increasingly uncomfortable in their absence.

"As he was feeling uncomfortable, I entered the room and saw him on the ground, and at that moment, I knew something serious was happening," Wunmi recalled, her voice filled with emotion.

Realizing the severity of the situation, she urgently sought help, running to the neighbors and raising an alarm. With the mechanic still repairing Mohbad's car, they faced traffic on their way to the hospital. In a desperate bid to reach the hospital quickly, they decided to use a bike to navigate through the congested roads.

Wunmi recounted the dramatic moment, saying, "The driver said his hand was cold, and he quickly came down to find a bike to take him to the hospital since the traffic that day was moving slowly. The photographer was with us, and they transported Mohbad on a bike to the hospital while I took another bike to follow them from behind."

She went on to reveal, "I couldn't enter the ward where the body was taken, but a few minutes later, I was informed that he had passed away. I couldn't believe it, and with tears in my eyes, I quickly called his cousin Darosha, who is the brother of Mohbad's mother, to come because I still couldn't believe what the doctor had said. Darosha came, and we moved him to another hospital."

Wunmi's emotional testimony has added significant details to the chain of events leading to Mohbad's tragic and untimely death, providing a clearer picture of the circumstances surrounding the fateful incident.
