Nollywood actress, Wumi Toriola, has ignited online reactions by candidly sharing the shift in her perspective on being a second wife.
During an interview with her colleague Debbie Shokoya, the Yoruba actress, who announced her divorce earlier this year, expressed that she is open to the idea of being a second wife.
As a single mother of one, she emphasized that she no longer limits herself and is willing to embrace life as it unfolds. Wumi Toriola shared that she would consider marrying a widower or someone who has been previously married and has children.
“I used to have the mindset that I can’t be a second or third wife, but that has changed because I’m after-one now,” she said. “If I see an after-one like me too or a widower, I will marry him. What matters is my happiness.”
