The renowned singer who transitioned into politics, Banky W, has openly shared that he and his wife, Adesua Etomi, unfortunately experienced the loss of their twins during the course of her pregnancy.
During an interview, Banky W candidly revealed the challenging phase they went through when their twins were lost. The musician-turned-politician reflected on the difficulties they faced in 2019, recounting how his wife, Adesua, struggled with fertility while he was occupied with his political campaign.
Banky W described how Adesua underwent in vitro fertilization (IVF) treatments starting from late 2018 and throughout 2019. He mentioned that the second IVF procedure was particularly arduous for her, causing immense pain. Despite being engrossed in his political aspirations at the time, Banky W made sure to spend quality time with his wife to support her through the process.
Expressing the emotional toll they endured, Banky W stated, "Whether it's the community of people that are close to you or family, it feels like you're being emptied on a daily basis. You're giving everything you have and it's not enough, and then we lost twins because we were pregnant with twins and we lost them. Then we tried again, and our relationship was strained. It was a tough time."
Banky W's revelation sheds light on the hardships faced by him and his wife during their journey towards parenthood, highlighting the emotional strain and resilience required to navigate such a challenging period.
