Nigerian singer Raoul John Njeng-Njeng, popularly known as Skales, has expressed his frustration over a ₦15M loss incurred due to a canceled flight.
In a recent Instagram post, Skales criticized greenafrica for their handling of the situation after his flight was canceled unexpectedly. He was on his way to Akure for a performance and was left dismayed by the turn of events.
The singer, who had a significant performance booked, highlighted his disappointment over the cancellation, which led to a substantial financial loss. Skales was particularly upset because he was set to perform and had been paid ₦15 million by Seyi Vodi for the event.
In his Instagram post, Skales shared his frustration:
“Wow! I booked a flight to Akure… got to the airport early, checked in, and suddenly, you cancel the flight because your pilot is sick?”
“This is unbelievable. I have lost money (I was paid N15 million by @seyivodi, for f*** sake) because of your horrible customer service. Did you know all along that your pilot was sick, or is this some kind of sick joke? You waited until flight time to inform us. I just can’t believe this. This country, man… we go see.”
