Reality star, Venita Akpofure, has taken a swipe at fake netizens, highlighting their inability to maintain a facade in real life for more than three months.
In a post on X, Venita emphasized that the online personas people create don't necessarily align with their real-life actions. She stated, "These days anybody can pretend to be whatever they want on the internet. Unfortunately, that can’t translate into real life. Did you know that Scientifically the most disciplined humans can only pretend for 3 months without human error.”
An X user challenged her, suggesting her post was aimed at someone specific and daring her to tag the person. Venita responded, questioning the notion of bravado associated with "@" mentions online and challenged the user to confront others without the shield of a keyboard and screen.
She wrote, “I’ve never understood that “@with ur chest thing” as if it’s boldness. Even a mosquito is brave in the dark. You are behind a keypad & a screen. Can u @ them in real life? And I mean in person. No Cue or “Moral support” needed. Do you think you actually can?”
