The renowned reality star, Uti Nwachukwu, has broken his silence in response to accusations of involvement in a scam against the family and friends of an American Chef named Anthony. The chef had taken to social media, alleging that Uti created an Instagram page using his photos to solicit money from his acquaintances.

In response to the accusations, Uti Nwachukwu vehemently denied any involvement in the scam, asserting that he is a victim of identity theft. He shared old videos of himself that were exploited by the fraudster, revealing that the perpetrator is, in fact, an internet scammer.
Taking to his Instagram page, the former BBNaija ex-housemate expressed his frustration with fraudsters and cautioned against justifying their actions. In a note, he wrote: “PLEASE VIEW MY STORIES TO SEE THE VIDEO THE SCAMMER USED TO ANSWER THE CHEF’s CALL… and it’s another one! So as you can see, this person has clearly screen-grabbed my photo or video and is obviously using another phone to record that screen grab while answering the phone. Just look at the edges on the photo… now look at the video the scammer is blocking… Deep in the Slums! I wish the victim had added the audio so we hear this bastard's voice. THIS IS WHY I KEEP SAYING STOP DEFENDING FRAUDSTERS WHEN THEY ARE PICKED UP! It’s all hustle. You'll keep defending until these merciless demons make you one of their victims.”
