Controversial Nigerian singer, Gabriel Oche Amanyi, better known as Terry G, expressed his belief that street-hop artist Portable emulated aspects of his persona. He shared this perspective during a recent episode of the Honest Bunch podcast.
Terry G asserted that Portable mimicked his mannerisms but did not replicate his musical style.
He elaborated:
“Portable adopted my acting persona. However, he did not emulate my musical approach. Music encompasses more than just vocals. It involves mastery of instruments. Did Portable invest time in learning any musical instruments?”
Terry G also addressed his feud with stand-up comedian AY:
“I collaborated with AY.Com, produced 'Pass Me Ur Luv,' contributed vocals to the chorus, and even delivered a verse. Consequently, nobody has the authority to dictate whether I can perform that song at my concerts. Furthermore, AY failed to compensate me for my production efforts,” he emphasized.
