Reality star Tacha has voiced her opinion on the recent Davido and Phyna social media controversy, asserting that Davido's apology was insincere. Tacha stated that Davido's actions only set Phyna up for more criticism online. She compared the situation to when comedian AY made a joke about Phyna that was blown out of proportion but he still apologized. Tacha believes that if Davido wanted to apologize, he should have done so sincerely or not said anything at all. She expressed concern for how online trolls can be quick to bully people. Tacha's comments come after Davido claimed he didn't know who Phyna was when she called him out for liking a tweet against her.
Speaking in a recent video, Tacha stated that the apology wasn’t a sincere one and only served to set up Phyna to be dragged by netizens.
She noted how online trolls are quick to bully people and recalled how the AY joke against the singer was blown out of proportion and made to seem something else, but the comedian apologized despite how big a comic act he is.
According to Tacha, if Davido had wanted to apologize he would have done it properly or better still, not say anything at all.
