The talented artist, known for her hit song 'Duduke,' has faced criticism from online trolls who claim that she imitates an American accent when speaking. In a video message posted on her social media platform, Simi firmly addressed these critics, asserting that she does not fake her accent and confidently stating that she speaks with fluency and authenticity. She expressed her annoyance towards those who accuse her of "forming an accent" and emphasized that she does not care about anyone's opinion regarding her way of speaking. Simi questioned whether she appears to be someone who plans her accent for the day and challenged anyone to point out any signs of struggle in her speech.
“Let me tell you something that gets on my nerves; when some motherf*ckers come on here saying I’m forming ascent. Do I really seem like the kind of person that will care about how anybody feels about how I talk?
