Comedian Seyi Law has raised concerns over the decision of the president of Nigeria, Tinubu, to allocate a substantial budget for the purchase of a presidential yacht.
Seyi Law, who has been an unwavering supporter of the Tinubu-led regime, has even seen his own daughter receive death threats due to his affiliation with the government.
However, a recent supplementary loan budget unveiled that the presidency earmarked 5 billion Naira for the acquisition of this presidential yacht.
This allocation has sparked widespread concern among the general public, especially given the prevailing economic difficulties in the country, with many citizens struggling to make ends meet.
Seyi Law, known for his outspokenness, expressed his profound disappointment regarding the 5 billion Naira budget earmarked for the presidential yacht. In his own words:
“I am absolutely not in support of the procurement of the presidential yacht. It is quite insensitive to the plight of Nigerians at this moment to even rationalize it. I call on the president, @officialABAT, to once again prove to Nigerians that he listens. Thank you, your Excellency.”
