Award-winning rapper Sarkodie has recently addressed the allegations of abortion made against him by actress Yvonne Nelson in her book.
In her book, Yvonne Nelson accused Sarkodie of pressuring her into having an abortion following their sexual relationship thirteen years ago. According to Yvonne, Sarkodie and his manager accompanied her to the hospital for the procedure and then left her to deal with it alone.

The revelation in Yvonne Nelson's book caused a stir on social media, with many people expressing their criticism towards the rapper.
After approximately a week of relative silence on the matter, Sarkodie has responded to Yvonne Nelson's accusations through a rap track titled "Try Me."
In the released rap, Sarkodie acknowledges his past sexual relationship with Yvonne Nelson but denies ever pressuring her to have an abortion.
He claims that he suggested his own doctor handle the situation, but Yvonne Nelson insisted on having her own doctor involved.
Additionally, Sarkodie implies that Yvonne Nelson had a promiscuous lifestyle during their dating period, alleging that she engaged in relationships with other men.

Yvonne Nelson has also fired shots at Sarkodie over his response through a rap song.
She tweeted,
“In my book, i narrated how you got me pregnant, How you couldn’t wait for me to get rid of it. How you DROVE me to have an abortion. As usual, you want to use rap to rubbish a pain a young woman felt. We both have daughters, lets see what life throws at them. #triedyou”.
