Popular music producer, Samklef, has shared his theory regarding the ongoing disrespect faced by Davido, despite the singer's well-known kindness and generosity. Samklef's insights come in light of recent comments made by others in the industry, particularly the skit maker Nasty Blaq, who lamented that the DMW boss continues to be disrespected by people, regardless of his good heart and intentions.
This conversation gained traction after content creator Kortney publicly criticized Davido for preventing her from posting their interview on social media, sparking further discussion about how the artist is treated by others.[/p>
In light of this, Samklef weighed in with his perspective on the possible reasons behind the disrespect directed at Davido. He drew an analogy between Davido and fellow artist Olamide, pointing out that while both have significantly helped many people in the industry, their approaches differ. Samklef noted that, unlike Olamide, who appears to give selflessly, Davido tends to offer assistance with expectations of control and recognition, which may lead to resentment and disrespect from others.[/p>
Furthermore, the music producer opined that Davido should reconsider his approach and stop portraying himself as a victim. Samklef suggested that the disrespect Davido faces is partly a result of his own actions, as he often seeks to appear favorable in the eyes of others. He expressed, “Olamide has helped a lot of people than Davido; why are people not disrespecting him? Davido brought it upon himself! This is what happens when you are always trying to look good in the eyes of everybody! You dey help based on expectation! Based on control. I got love for him; he just needs to stop playing the victim!”[/p>
